Megan Fox Upcoming Movies 2026 and 2027: New Projects and Release Dates

Megan Fox remains one of Hollywood’s most recognizable genre stars, and fans are watching closely for updates about her upcoming movies in 2026 and 2027. Is Megan Fox returning for Jennifer’s Body 2?

Reports published in 2026 claim that Megan Fox is expected to return as Jennifer Check in a follow-up to the 2009 cult horror comedy Jennifer’s Body. Those reports also connect the project with writer Diablo Cody and director Karyn Kusama.

However, the sequel has not been presented here as officially confirmed by 20th Century Studios. The safest SEO wording is “reported,” “in development” or “latest update,” not “confirmed release.”

Some reports have suggested that filming could begin in Vancouver in October 2026 and that Amanda Seyfried could also return as Needy. Those details remain subject to confirmation and should not be treated as final casting until an official announcement is made. citeturn0search4turn0search2

Why fans want Jennifer’s Body 2

Jennifer’s Body developed a strong cult following after its initial release. The film’s reputation grew through streaming, home viewing and renewed discussion of its themes, including friendship, gender expectations, sexuality and betrayal.

A sequel could revisit Jennifer and Needy while exploring how the characters have changed since the original film. At this stage, the story details are not officially confirmed, so fan theories should remain separate from reported production information.

Megan Fox’s recent movies

Subservience

Fox starred in the science-fiction thriller Subservience as an artificial-intelligence android whose relationship with a family becomes increasingly dangerous. The film continued Fox’s association with science fiction, horror and technology-driven thrillers.

Expend4bles

Fox appeared in the action franchise Expend4bles, adding another large-scale action title to her filmography.

Johnny & Clyde

Fox also appeared in the crime thriller Johnny & Clyde, continuing a run of genre-focused roles outside the biggest studio franchises.

Other projects listed as upcoming

Film databases and entertainment publications have listed projects such as Aurora, Shadow Girl and Swindle among Fox’s potential upcoming work. However, these titles do not currently have the same level of public release information as a formally dated studio movie.

For that reason, this article treats them as projects to monitor rather than confirmed 2026 or 2027 releases. A production listing is not the same as a completed film, a theatrical date or a streaming announcement. citeturn0search0turn0search19

Could Megan Fox appear in another horror movie?

Horror remains one of the most natural areas for Fox’s next project. Her performances in Jennifer’s Body, Till Death and Subservience have connected her with audiences interested in horror, psychological thrillers and science fiction.

If Jennifer’s Body 2 moves forward, it would be the most direct continuation of that genre identity. Until then, readers should be cautious with social-media posts claiming that a project has already begun filming or received an official release date.

What is Megan Fox doing outside movies?

In October 2026, Fox was announced as a co-owner of Subs.com and launched an official page on the direct-to-fan platform. The announcement adds a business and creator-platform project to her entertainment career. citeturn0search12
